Concept of IT project development:

Building IT systems as a building blocks, follows the concept of SOA:

• Create a flexible system that easily to adapt/modified to suit with dynamic conditions
• Reduce time and cost in developing IT systems by using what we already have and upgrade/modify it to make it suit with our purpose.

Aim:

• 1st Stage: focus on improving and expanding Corporate Surveillance and Security System.
• 2nd Stage: focus on improving and expanding Corporate Collaboration and Communication System.
• 3rd Stage: focus on improving and expanding Corporate Web Base Applications.
• 4th Stage: focus on improving and expanding Corporate Video Presentation for internal staff training and advertising purpose.
• Undefined Stage: focus on building an Intelligent Enterprise by take advantage of Information, Computer, and Communication Technologies. And focus on implementing Intelligent Buildings Project to the organization area.

List of Corporate IT works:

• Global Positioning System (GPS) Tracker: implemented for logistic department to track back all the way long of the path that the organization’s transportation truck/car pass through.
  
• Time Attendance Checking: using fingerprint reader and card reader devices for organization’s staff attendance checking in which the records can be consolidate to use with Salary Calculation Application.
  
• Company’s Website: for advertisement and customer relationship management purpose, included RSS feeds and Electronic Newsletter systems.
  
• Organization’s Web Portal: for internal use purposes, included forum, web log, and enterprise’s encyclopedia.
• Surveillance System: included Secuirty Alarm System and CCTV Surveillance System.
  
• Collaboration System: included various technologies and applications. For example: Internet, LAN, WiFi, VPN, Instant Messaging, Electronic Mail, IP-Telephony, and Video Conference.
  
• Enterprise Resource Planning System: Under consideration to implement.
• Barcode and RFID Systems: RFID project is still under gathering information process.

There is very high competitive in this area which is good for us because several companies provide free service for their customer to use video chat feature and their quality are now become better and better.
• Virtual Private Network (VPN): there are several ways to implement or adopt this networking pattern to the organization.
