Background: This project will be a sub part of the corporate website and web portal project, because I try to create an web base knowledge base system for the firm that will store the video training, FAQs, Manuals, How-to stuffs, and the tutorial. These might help the enterprise to reduce the employees training time and cost, also to help reduce IT burden in the firm.
Purpose: To create a system that help company to reduce the employees training cost and time and also help reducing the firm’s IT burden.
Details: Since we already have a professional digital camera, it seem that we just need a video recorder to create a training video like in the production line, the training video about how to use some computer software can use the web cam or just use some screen capture software to record the video. For example: How to use company’s forum? How to set the configuration in Microsoft Outlook?
The web base that I’ve to create have no cost because its base on open source software and free services. For example, I can use Media Wiki as a company’s knowledge base center, you will feels like using the Wikipedia but just only the contents are all about our businesses, so it will be pretty easy to use and free, here is an example.

Conclusion: As a results, a product, services, the system will provide the knowledge center that available useful information to the user can view it on the web apllication or in form of documents: PDF, DOC; Video File that can only view on the company’s website, similar of what showing on above; And only the authenticated organization’s staffs are allowed to access.

I think your comment is quite unclear. I wondering what the PDCA project stand for?
You said that “These two equipments mentioned above will be very vital for this project and we’ll need them soon.”, What are those 2 things? Is it the knowledge base system or is it project team member that you need for the first one? And you mean that you need a video recorder and screen capturing software to make the powerpoint slide presentation video right?
If it just like that the knowledge base system is in the process of creating and developing, it will be available in 2 months.
The screen capturing software, I can provide it to you. The video recorder, like I said, there is a tape video recorder available in the stock, you can use it records thing you want and convert it into a digital video file later. If the quality does not good enough then, the consideration of supplying a digital video camera should be discuss.

currently my team are trying to set up the PDCA project on production (start with printing div.)
To clarify, this project would definitely require
- knowledge sharing between management team and managers at the first pharse. project team members have to learn and teach each others, that’s why i have to prepare equipment for recording training sessions that will be held. (The sessions would mostly use ppt. as a major teaching aid)
- secondly, we need to record the progress of our projects at the target area eg. printing dept. in order to picturize the taken actions and to have reference for accessing performance.
These two equipments mentioned above will be very vital for this project and we’ll need them soon.
